If you like to bike or go for a run, the dunes are amazing and just 5 minutes’ biking from the apartment. For daily shopping you can walk to the Stevinstraat/Gentsestraat where you will find a variety of local shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Every Thursday there is an open market.

Other facilities in the area are a swimming pool, cinema, theatre and several sport clubs.

There is very good public transport. Tram 9 and bus 22 will bring you to the city center, the central station and the Statenkwartier. International organizations like ICC, NATO, Europol and OPCW are easy to reach by bus or tram or by bike (10 minutes travel time).
